A slow start from a cold beginning

The late spring means a late start to our season here on the farm. Seeds for radish, peas, beets and chard have been sown and sleepily emerge from the dark, cool soil. Tomatoes started under lights during Februarys chill are now nestled into ground and starting to flower. 300+ flower seedlings are all lined up in happy rows and about 50 dahlias are ready and waiting. With the chilly beginning comes a limited availability early in the season, but once the ground and air temps warm our offerings will be abundant.
